Wouj et ble

Wouj e Ble (Red and Blue) is an ode to the heirs of the first independent black nation in the western hemisphere. They are the inheritors of a land overflowing with salt, sun, mangoes and coconuts. They come from a precious earth brimming with metals and minerals. These children, armed with a fierce brilliance, creativity and curiosity are fully equipped to march the legacy of Haiti boldly into the future. They are symbols of a successful slave rebellion and their freedom, like that of their forefathers, has the power to alter the trajectory of the world as we know it.
